Hayley Strasburger

Biographical Info

Senior Hayley Strasburger is a Neuroscience major with a secondary concentration in history of science and technology. She is interested in neurological diseases; specifically, Hayley has a unique passion for studying the neurodegenerative disease Multiple Sclerosis and pursues this interest as a volunteer in Dr. Calabresi’s Multiple Sclerosis laboratory at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her involvement in research has resulted in her authorship of a paper published in the Journal of Neuroscience studying the repercussions of transferring myelin reactive th17 cells on the remyelination of neurons in the central nervous system. Outside of research, Hayley is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Neuroscience Journal Club, and the club tennis team at Hopkins. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking!
