Biographical Info

From St. Charles, IL, Abby is a junior studying Molecular and Cellular Biology and minoring in Psychology. With both her parents in the STEM field, she became interested in math and science ever since she was young. Interested in pursuing healthcare for women in the service, she has had the opportunity to work with and observe military health professionals, which led to her hopes of becoming a physician in the Navy. Abby is also on the varsity swim team and has many accomplishments as a swimmer, being awarded the NCAA First-Team All-American for swimming and an NCAA Scholar All-American. As a student-athlete, Abby researches cell motility, is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and volunteers in the Pediatric Emergency Department with Child Life at Johns Hopkins Hospital. A fun fact is that Abby can solve 9 different kinds of Rubik’s cubes!
